Anna E. Williams
April 15, 1925 - January 18, 2011
Anna E. (Chacho) Williams, 85, of Southview Avenue, Danbury, wife of the late Edward Williams, Sr., died at Pope John Paul Center for Healthcare on Tuesday, January 18th. She was born in Bethel on April 15, 1925, daughter of the late Karol and Theresa (Skooran) Chacho. She was a graduate of Bassick High School, and Butler Business School in Bridgeport.
Mrs. Williams was a Veteran of World War II, serving with the United States Navy Waves in the Medical Corps. She was employed by the Danbury School System in the School Lunch Program at Hayestown School. She later worked as a bookkeeper for Energywise Lighting in Newtown.
She will be sadly missed by her son, Charles E. Williams and his wife, MaryAnn of Danbury; her sister, Virginia Hancock of Oxford; her brother, Andrew Chacho of Monroe; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Paul and Karol Chacho; and her sisters, Mary Conner and Irene Toth; and her stepson, Edward P. Williams, Jr. Funeral Information
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 22nd at 10:00am at St. Gregory the Great Church, Danbury. Cremation will take place at the direction of the family. There are no calling hours per Anna's wishes. Donations Information
