Obituary of Richard F. Wildman

Richard F. Wildman September 30, 1930 - November 14, 2004 Richard F. Wildman, 74, of Hillside Avenue, New Milford, died at New Milford Hospital on Sunday, November 14th. He was born in Danbury on September 30, 1930, son of the late Frederick and Ethel B. (Somers) Wildman. He attended Danbury Schools. As a young adult he was awarded a star in the Boy Scouts. Mr. Wildman worked as a clerk for Mitchell Oil Company for more than forty years. Prior to that he worked for E. Paul Kovack in Danbury. He was president and manager of Beaver Brook Chapel and he enjoyed volunteering at New Milford Nursing Homes as an entertainer. Mr. Wildman is survived by his three sons, Jeffrey A. Wildman of New Milford, Richard W. Wildman and his wife Rebecca of Ocala, Fla., and John J. Wildman of Danbury; his daughter, Karen J. Wildman of New Milford; and grandchildren, Paul, Daniel and Bradley Wildman. He was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara A. Wildman; a brother, Clayton Wildman, and a sister, Lois Gardner. Funeral Information The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 18th between the hours of 6 and 8:00pm at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield. Cremation and interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
