Obituary of Theresa Marie Waterman

Theresa Marie (Baldasare) Waterman September 04, 1908 - July 26, 2004 Theresa Marie (Baldasare) Waterman, formerly of James Street, Danbury, wife of the late George L. Waterman, died in the presence of her loved ones on Monday, July 26th at Harborside Glen Hill. She was born in Danbury on September 4, 1908, daughter of the late Pasquale and Carmela (Mazza) Baldasare. Mrs. Waterman was a lifetime member of the Danbury Community and was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church. She was a seamstress for Bernice Frocks, and later worked as a Group Leader for Capital Machine. She was active in both the St. Gregory and St. Anthony Senior Citizen Groups. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother, she will be sadly missed by her three daughters, Geraldine Strusky and her husband, Stanley; Jeanette DeFazio and her husband, Benny, all of Danbury; and Patricia Cerno and her husband, Emil of Bridgewater; her ten grandchildren, Stan and Steven Strusky, Susan Poulter, Ben DeFazio, Bernadette Linstrum, Beth Malarchick, Lisa Daly, Donna Preziosi, Emil Cerno, Jr., and Cheryl Pinkos; seventeen great grandchildren; and one great great granddaughter. She is also survived by her brother, Michael Baldasare and his wife, Anita of Danbury; her sister, Genevieve "Dolly" Talarico of Newtown; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, George P. Waterman. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 30th at 10:00am, at St. Joseph Church, Danbury. Burial in St. Peter Cemetery will follow. The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Thursday, July 29th between the hours of 5:00 - 7:00pm.
