Obituary of Herbert A. Veness

Herbert A. Veness January 19, 1947 - November 02, 2003 Herbert A. Veness, Sr., of Park Place, Danbury, husband of Jean (Lynch) Veness, died at New Milford Hospital on Sunday, November 2nd at the age of 56. He was born in Danbury on January 19, 1947 son of Dorothy (Haines) Veness and the late Herbert B. Veness. Mr. Veness worked as a landscaper for Zinser Landscaping. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Besides his cherished wife of 36 years, Jean, he is survived by his mother; three daughters, Dawn Louzada, Jean Veness and Lorena Viana, all of Danbury; two sons, Herbert Veness, Jr. of Killeen, TX. and Daniel Veness, Sr. of Danbury. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; three brothers, Ronald, Kenneth, and Fredrick Veness, all of Danbury, as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral Services will be at St. James Episcopal Church in Danbury on Thursday, November 6th at 11:00 am, the Reverend Dr. Laura Ahrens officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday, November 5th at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury between the hours of 4 and 7 pm.
