Obituary of Bridget Mary Thomas

Bridget Mary Thomas July 16, 1939 - March 20, 2004 Bridget Mary (Coady) Thomas, 64, of Candlewood Lake Road, Brookfield, devoted wife of Colin F. Thomas, died on Saturday, March 20th at her home. She was born in Ealing Middlesex, England, daughter of the late Michael J. and Mary Kate (Power) Coady. She attended schools in England. Mrs. Thomas was a homemaker, maintaining the family home. She was a talented dressmaker, making costumes in London, and was very proud to have created a costume for Marilyn Monroe. She was also an avid needle worker and enjoyed cooking and crafts. Mrs. Thomas will be sadly missed by her husband of 40 years, her cherished two daughters, Sian Thomas-Valentine and her husband, mark of Manlius, NY., and Samantha Thomas-Boelke and her husband, Gary of Brookfield; her four grandchildren, Grant & Quinn Valentine, Blake and Bridget Boelke. She is also survived by two brothers, Michael and John Coady of England; two sisters, Ann Wilken and Patricia Rice of England; as well as several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 26th, 8:00pm, at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield. Friends may call on Friday between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00pm at the funeral home.
