Walker T. Taylor, 90, of Newtown died Tuesday, June 14th at his home. He was the husband of the late Myrtle "Peggy" (Jennings) Taylor. Walker was born, August 22, 1920 in Bethel, the son of the late Arthur and Harriet (Webb) Taylor.
Walker served in the Navy during World War II in the Pacific. He was a printer and owned and operated Taylor Associates. He was a member of Bethel Eureka Lodge of the Masons and for a period served as Master of the Lodge.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his sister, Harriet "Sue" Jennings of Brookfield, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by five brothers and sisters. Funeral Information
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 17th at 10:00 A.M. at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St. Danbury with burial to follow in Wooster Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 17th from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. also at Cornell Memorial Home. Donations Information
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations may be made in Walker's name to the charity of one's choice.
