Obituary of Marjorie Spano

Marjorie Spano April 05, 1911 - September 27, 2003 Marjorie Spano died at the Danbury Hospital on September 27, 2003, at the age of 92. She was the widow of the late Patsy Spano and had lived on Beckerle St., in Danbury. Mrs. Spano was born April 5, 1911, daughter of the late Pasqual and Carmela Mazza Baldasare. She attended Danbury Schools and was last employed as an assembler for Capitol Machine Co., in Danbury. Mrs. Spano was a talented artist and especially enjoyed working in pen and ink drawings. A well-known cook, she and her husband entertained their many friends and family at their home. She also played the piano and shared her musical talent by playing classic pieces. Mrs. Spano is survived by her sisters; Theresa Waterman, of Danbury; and Genevieve Talarico, of Newtown; her brother Michael Baldasare, of Danbury; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and special friends. She is predeceased by her brother, Elbert Baldasare and sister Rose Heaton. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, at St. Joseph Church, Danbury, at 11 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Peter Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
