Obituary of Khao Siharaj

Khao Siharaj July 27, 1948 - February 27, 2004 Khao Siharaj, 55, of Woodside Avenue, Danbury, devoted husband of Lumvieng Siharaj, died unexpectedly on Friday, February 27th at the Danbury Hospital. He was born in Laos on July 27, 1948, son of the late Sune and Home Siharaj. He made his home in Danbury for more than twenty years. Khao was a machine operator for Sandlapper Fabrics in Danbury. He was an active member of the Buddha Ariyamettaram Temple in Morris, Ct. He enjoyed fishing, cultivating his gardens, and spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren. He was a kind and loving man who will be sadly missed. Besides his loving wife, he is survived by four sons, Oudom Siharaj and his wife, Eingkham, Varouth "Eddie" Siharaj and his wife, Erica, Raymond Siharaj and Mark Siharaj, all of Danbury; a daughter, Pangkeo Houston and her husband, Vincent of Georgia. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Kevin, Ashley, Kimberly, Austin, Kaitlyn, Tyler, Adriana, Jeanie, and Alizamara Marie; a dear uncle, Dom Chokbengboune of Danbury; several siblings and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Information A Buddhist Ceremony will take place at 1:00pm on Saturday, March 6th at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury. Cremation will follow at Charter Oak Crematory. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 5th between the hours of 5 and 8pm at the Cornell Memorial Home.
