Ruth Pike
May 07, 1917 - January 01, 2005
Ruth B. Pike died peacefully at her home on
January 4, 2005. She was the wife of the late Clark
F. Pike of Fairfield, CT. She was born and raised in
Woodhaven, N.Y., and moved to CT upon her marriage.
She has lived in Bethel since 1984. Ruth worked at Reeds
of Trumbull until her retirement. She loved playing
bridge and did so at the Bethel Senior Center. Ruth
is survived by a daughter, Nancy Pitcher and her
husband Nathaniel of Pauline, South Carolina and a son
Robert and his wife Joyce of Stratford, CT. She also
leaves six grandchildren, Deborah Gasper, Jennifer
Albright, Laurie Grey, Christopher Pike, Lisa Vaccino,
Julie Shadman, eleven great-grandchildren, and a
devoted friend of many years, Bryan Wright.
