Theodore E. Ornowski
October 31, 1923 - August 17, 2010
Theodore E. Ornowski, 86, of Danbury, husband of the late Ann (Pazda) Ornowski, died at his home on Tuesday, August 17th. He was born in Stamford on October 31, 1923, son of the late Stanley and Mary Ornowski. He was a Veteran of World War II, proudly serving with the United States Navy.
Mr. Ornowski worked as an inspector for Perkin Elmer in Danbury. He was a member of the Danbury VFW. He enjoyed bowling and playing the lottery.
He will be sadly missed by his three daughters, Nancy Miller and her husband, Timothy of Sandy Hook, Susan Vasaturo and her husband, Joseph of Danbury, Mary Lee Ornowski and her fiancé Jim Hinckley of Danbury; his five grandchildren, Alex and Doug Miller, Bob, Mike, and Paige Vasaturo; and his brother, Edward Ornowski of Stratford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, August 20th at 10:00am at St. Joseph Church in Danbury. Burial will follow in Wooster Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Thursday (Today) between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00pm. Donations Information
