Obituary of Mary A. Nolan

Mary A. Nolan April 03, 1921 - January 26, 2004 Mary A. (Frasso) Nolan, formerly of Southington wife of the late Vincent P. Nolan, Sr., died on Monday, January 26th at Harborside Glen Hill in Danbury. She was born in Southington on April 3, 1921, daughter of the late John and Antoinette (Rich) Frasso. She was a graduate of Lewis High School in Southington. Mrs. Nolan was an active member of the Southington Community for most her life. She retired as Registrar of Voters for the Town of Southington in 1998. She was a lifetime parishioner of St. Thomas Church and enjoyed membership in the church Altar Society and Ladies Guild. She was also a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary Kiltonic Post, the Southington Council of Catholic Women, the Auxiliary of Bradley Memorial Hospital, and the Southington Democratic Women's Club. Mrs. Nolan will be sadly missed by her son, Vincent P. Nolan, Jr. and his wife, Mary Lou of Danbury; three grandchildren, Brianne, Sean and Caitlin Nolan, all of Danbury. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who considered her not only an aunt but as the family caregiver. Funeral Information A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 30th at St. Thomas Church, Southington at 10:00am. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 28th at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, between the hours of 5 and 8 pm. Visitation will also be held on Thursday, January 29th between 4 and 8pm at Della Vecchia Funeral Home, 211 North Main St., Southington.
