Dorothy (Pilch) Miller, 85, of Danbury died April 23rd at Candlewood Valley Health and Rehab Center. Dorothy was born in Brewster, NY on July 1, 1925, daughter of the late George and Pearl (Hyatt) Pilch. She was the wife of 57 years to the late Warren R. Miller.
Dorothy was a member at St. James Episcopal Church of Danbury.
Dorothy is survived by three sons, Warren "Terry" Miller and his wife Cindy of Bethel, Gregg Miller and his wife Karen of New Milford and Denis Miller of New Milford; two daughters, Deborah Bucko and her husband Ken of Madison and Judy Rao and her husband Carmen of Danbury; 2 brothers, Jerry and John "Jack" Pilch and his wife Marie; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Along with her husband she is predeceased by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral Information
Funeral services will be held at Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury on Thursday, April 28th at 10 A.M. Interment will be at Wooster Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Cornell Memorial Home on Wednesday, April 27th at 4 to 7 P.M. Donations Information
The family would like to give special thanks to the entire staff of Candlewood Valley Health and Rehab Center. They would also ask that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in her name to the Alzheimer's Association, 279 New Britain Road Suite 5, Kensington, CT 06037.
