Obituary of Thomas John Lucas

Thomas John Lucas III April 17, 1941 - June 08, 2011 Thomas J. Lucas III Thomas John Lucas III, 70, husband of the late Donna Lucas, died Wednesday, June 8th in Danbury. Thomas was the son of the late Thomas J. "Tucker" and Agnes Lucas. Thomas was born April 17th, 1941 in Cos Cob. He was a graduate of Greenwich High school. Thomas was an electrician with IBEW Local 3 for 43 years. He was in the Danbury Horseshoe Club and a lifetime member of the NRA. Thomas loved to play the harmonica, banjo, guitar and playing pool. He was an avid crossword puzzle enthusiast, loved trivia and military history. Thomas is survived his son, Thomas J. Lucas IV and his wife Heather of Hopewell Junction, NY; his two daughters, Alicia M. Lucas and her Fiancé Kurt Naumann of Daytona Beach, FL, Maggie A. Lucas of Danbury; two grandchildren, Ryle Grace Litwin and Katelyn Nicole Lucas; one brother, Howard Lucas and his wife Marie of Danbury; many beloved nieces, nephews and in-laws. Funeral Information A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, June 11th at 10:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Church, Danbury.
