Always a Great Family. Thoughts & Prayers RIP Mike.
I wrote this when my mom passed away:
Another Autumn Angel Gone
Wives, husbands, sons and daughters, Mom’s, Dad’s and sisters too and not to forget our fallen brothers is what we bring to you.
Our loss is your gain LORD, each one to us divine, as we’ve laid to rest these thoughts and souls and await our chosen time.
07 on an Autumn day is when he came they’d say, to call his Autumn Angels back, by his side is where they’ll stay.
He’s gifted them, which they’ve gifted us, a verse along the way, to spread the words of cherished thoughts and tales of yesterday.
As we’ve met and formed new friendships, with thoughts alike we’d be, with gifted paths and selflessness, together we all would see.
GOD knows all and we his servants trust all he’d say and do, and one day we too will stand by his side and there we’ll wait for you.
Respect we gave, Respect they say, Respect as we have known and fears we’ve held, loves endless ways is all they’ve ever shown.
Now take your Autumn Angels LORD and save a place for me, and will bring our scribes and gifted words and leave behind our seeds.
Remain faithful and I’ll greet you, near the golden gate he’s shown, with open arms I’ll wait to meet you, with a love we’ve always known.
But should you then forsake me, here I’ll wait and you will see, always in your dreams he’ll make me, remind you as I’d be.
Perhaps not all of glory, just a simple heart and soul, with a gift of knowing I’ve done the job, that our GOD and I have known.
So think of me each day, when a sunset touches you, or a moon lit night caresses your brow and the thoughts would come to you.
I’ve chosen a path with no regrets and asked not much of him, and perhaps the time will come so graciously and our GOD would let us in.
So call your Autumn Angels LORD, as they all have come to be, the gifter’s of the gifted scribes and the words you’ve gifted me.
