Obituary of Dorothea Renata Perbix
Mrs. Dorothea R. (Mutschler) Perbix, age 84, of Trumbull, died Monday December 18, 2017 at Yale New Haven Hospital. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Gottfried W. Perbix.
Mrs. Perbix was born January 14, 1933 in Stuttgart, Germany, daughter of the late Karl and Hildegard (Breining) Mutschler. She retired from her work life in 2000, after a long career including 22 years as Administrative Manager at Perbix Associates in Westport. She was an avid reader, enjoyed gardening, excelled as a home cook, and loved nature and her family.
In addition to her husband Gottfried, she is survived by her daughters: Eva Koehm and her husband Andrew of Brookfield, and Jutta “Judy” Gibbons and her husband James of Bermuda, 4 grandchildren: Daniel and Diana Koehm and John and Juliana Gibbons, and her brother Eberhard Mutschler. She was predeceased by 3 siblings: brothers Hans and Dieter Mutschler, and sister Irmgard (Mutschler) Geist.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 11am at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 119 Junction Road, Brookfield. Dorothea’s family will receive family and friends at the church from 10am until the time of the service.
Burial will be in Prince of Peace Cemetery. The Brookfield Funeral Home, is in charge of arrangements.
