Obituary of Patricia Ellen Bauer
Patricia "Pat" Bauer, 66, of New Fairfield, beloved wife of the late Frederick Bauer, Sr., died peacefully at Danbury Hospital on Wednesday, March 15th. She was born in Bronx, NY on April 1, 1950, beloved daughter of Eleanor (Sheridan) McInerney of Danbury, and the late Joseph McInerney.
Pat worked as a dietician for New York Hospital in White Plains, NY for many years. She also enjoyed working as a crossing guard for Consolidated School in New Fairfield, alongside her husband for fifteen years.
A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she will be remembered as a phenomenal cook who always had enough for anyone at the table. She loved to bake and make her own creations using chocolate.
In addition to her mother, Eleanor, she will be sadly missed by her three sons, Fred and his wife, Alicia of New Milford, Tim and his wife, Candace, and Greg Bauer, all of New Fairfield; her daughter, Kristen Banks and her husband, Rich of Danbury; her three cherished grandchildren, Faith, Maya and Oliver Bauer. She is also survived by her sister, Barbara Kinash and her husband, Andy of Carmel, NY; her sister-in-law, Donna Bauer and her husband, Stephen Casey.
Funeral Service will be held at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury, on Saturday, March 18th at 12:30pm. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence O'Toole Cemetery in Brewster, NY.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday morning between the hours of 10:30am and 12:30pm.
