Obituary of Anna Mary Tarsi
Anna Mary Tarsi, age 104, passed peacefully on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Bethel Health Care. She was surrounded by her loving family. Anna was the devoted wife of the late Aldo Joseph Tarsi.
A lifelong Danburian, she was born on February 19, 1912 a daughter of the late Eugene and Caroline (Laccomondi) Montesi. As a young woman, she did piece work for Lees Hat Factory and worked a second job at New England Garment Factory. She and her husband were active parishioners of St. Peter Church and sent their children to St. Peter School. She was a very active member of St. Peter's Guild. During her lifetime, Anna lovingly touched the lives of many; she was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed taking care of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by 2 sons: Robert J. Tarsi and his wife, Sandra of Danbury and Raymond J. Tarsi . and his wife, Laura of Bethel; 2 daughters: Dorothy Bennett of Danbury and Marianna McCarthy of New Fairfield; 18 grand children, 25 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren; sisters: Mary Miller and Rose Rishdan of Danbury, a son-in-law Robert Adam of CA, and several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter Anita Adam; sons-in-law : Arthur Bennett and Douglas McCarthy; brothers Joseph, Maurice and Eugene; sisters Molly, Grace and Josephine.
We wish to thank everyone at Bethel Health Care for the tender care and abundance of love shown our mother.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at 10:30 am at St. Peter Church; interment will follow in St. Peter Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury on Monday, January 23 from 4:00 to 7:00pm
