Obituary of Richard D Falci

Richard D. Falci, age 79 of Danbury died on December 1st at Filosa Convalescent Center, Danbury. He was the husband of the late Marie M. (Shaw) Falci. Richard was born May 31, 1937 in Bronx, NY the son of the late Domenic and Madeline (Perrone) Falci. He was a graduate of New York schools and had served with the Air National Guard of New York. Richard had been a resident of Danbury since 1968. He was employed as a communications engineer with ATT for 36 years until the time of his retirement, and was a longtime parishioner of Saint Edward the Confessor Church, New Fairfield. In his spare time Richard enjoyed bowling with friends in several leagues in the Danbury, Brookfield, and New Milford areas, spending time with family, and his loyal dog Riley. Richard is survived by his children: Richard T. Falci and his wife Jennifer of Brookfield, Steven M. Falci, Joseph D. Falci, and Kimberly A. Falci all of Danbury, one sister: Diane Zuckert of AZ, three grandchildren: Stephen DaCunha, Danielle Falci, and Natalie Falci, as well as several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday December 7th at 11:00am in Saint Edward the Confessor Church, New Fairfield. Burial will follow in Saint Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
