Obituary of Daniel M. Ellis

Daniel M. Ellis, 52, of Brookfield, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 16th. He was born in Danbury on December 1, 1963, beloved son of Robert B. Ellis and Ellen (Worthy) Ellis. He was a graduate of The Gunnery, class of 1981. Daniel worked for many years as a computer operator for Boehringer Ingelheim. Later he enjoyed working as a produce clerk at Shop Rite, in Brookfield. Danny was an avid reader, enjoyed comic books, music and karaoke. He was a kind gentle man, loved by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, Robert and Ellen, he will be sadly missed by his son, Evan Ellis; his daughter, Casey Ellis; his brother David Ellis; and his sisters, Patricia Zaharias and Margaret Swanson. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 19th at 1pm at the American Legion, 7 Elizabeth Street, Bethel, potluck welcome.
